The saying “time is money” is true now more than ever.  Taking time out of your work schedule or home life to come to the dentist  can be difficult.  Investing in the latest technology and advances in dentistry allows us to be more efficient and cut down on the amount of appointments needed.  A traditional crown takes at least two visits, one to create the temporary and one for the placement of the permanent crown approximately 2 to 3 weeks later.  Cerec technology allows us to prepare the tooth and create the final, permanent crown in one visit and takes only about an hour.  The result is beautiful, strong and fast.

When this patient was a young boy, he fell in a skateboarding accident.  Every parent’s worst nightmare came true, he lost both of his permanent front teeth.  Due to his age, he couldn’t have dental implants placed and had to wait until he finished growing.  A partial denture or flipper was used for most of the time and now that it’s been 10 years, he was finally ready to proceed with a more permanent option, dental implants.  His smile is finally what it always should have been.

Kara Wilson or K’Dub from 95.5 The Beat is not only a successful radio personality, but models in print ads and fashion shows.  She takes her career seriously and felt her smile was holding her back.  After doing some research on the web and looking over my reviews, she came to me to find out the best way to improve her smile.  I presented many different options to her including traditional braces, porcelain veneers, whitening and Invisalign.  She decided on Invisalign because it wouldn’t be noticeable in her print ads and didn’t affect her speech on air.  Kara was my most challenging Invisalign case to date.  It took only 9 months for Kara’s treatment to be complete.  I’m thrilled with the results and so is she!

When our hygienist Janeime tells our patients who find themselves in the situation of needing a dental implant, that she knows exactly how they feel, she really does.  Her front tooth had a root canal many years ago and then suffered a fracture.  While she was a little nervous to lose it, she knew she had to do something because it continued to get loose over time.  Dr. Patel referred Janeime to a periodontist who specializes in implants.  He extracted Janeime’s tooth and placed the implant that same day.  A temporary crown was placed and the result looked very natural.  Once the implant had healed completely and integrated into the bone, we took an impression and a permanent, porcelain implant crown was placed.  Janeime’s smile has never looked better!

This patient was born with one of the most common problems with her smile, peg laterals or small laterals. These are the teeth on either side of your two front teeth. Even though she had bonding, she was never happy with the way they blended into her smile. Dr. Patel used No Prep Veneers to create an incredibly natural and beautiful smile.  No Prep Veneers are similar to Lumineers but the esthetics of our No Prep Veneers are superior to Lumineers.  They are thin, translucent and natural looking.
